Data Analyst / Data Engineer for Group Internal Audit Function

You will be part of the Data Analytics team in the Group Internal Audit department expanding our data analytics capabilities.
You will have the opportunity to work on local and global audit projects with strategic impact and high visibility.
You will update and maintain data feeds that populate databases, and build views based on which the analytics will be performed.
You will develop and extract knowledge from internal data sets by applying data analytics techniques.
You will be working together with the other team members to create visualizations and reporting capabilities, both ad-hoc and automated
You will have the opportunity to closely interact with the Group Internal Audit team and gain banking knowledge first-hand through analyzing data supporting key Bank’s processes.
Requirements
Qualifications and experience:
Excellent performance track record
Master degree in Computer Science / (Business) Informatics / Engineering or similar analytical studies
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant data analytics work experience SQL proficiency, preferably using Oracle RDMS
Experience developing and maintaining complex ETL flows and pipelines, using clear, efficient and tested code.
Good skills in Python and preferably first experience with distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop) and container tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Ability to assemble data sets from disparate sources and analyze using appropriate quantitative methodologies, computational frameworks and systems
Experience in data visualization (experience with Tableau preferred)
Background in banking and risk management / audit is an added advantage
Competencies:
Strong communication skills in English, German is a strong plus
Self-starter and proactive personality
Ability to understand and discover analytics needs through close collaboration with end-users
Analytical, critical and strategic mindset
Clean and structured way of working with data and programming
Enthusiasm and results orientated to drive your analytics output towards discovering new ways how to retrieve more insights from the existing data
